It is possible for a synthetic prosthesis to fracture in the middle, or one tooth to fall out. In both cases the prosthesis mus be repaired by a dental laboratory - only a dentist can contact them though. If your prosthesis breaks on a weekend or bank holiday, please ask the emergency service dental practice if they have the possibility to make a repair, but in most cases no dental laboratory is open for business during these times. Some dentists have a special kind of glue, that can be used to make a provisional repair until the next weekday.
We strongly discourage glueing the parts yourself. Commercial glues are usually water soluble and harmful to your health. In addition, it makes it more difficult foor the dental technician to fix the prosthesis later on.
